Adam Friedman

Co-founder and Board Chair

Adam Friedman is an environmentalist, scientist, and artist focused on exploring the intersections between art and the environment. In addition to working as a director, carpenter, and producer in the Atlanta theater community, Adam currently works as an environmental scientist focusing on toxic waste cleanup and the intersection between climate change, pollution, and human health. He also currently volunteers at LiveThrive Atlanta’s Center for Hard to Recycle Materials. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Theater Studies and a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health from Emory University. He hopes to eventually use his environmental background to create a more sustainable theater that is as influenced by the environment around it as those who create it are.
